What is Armband?
Armband is a Fantasy Premier League decision tool. Before every deadline it gives you one recommended transfer, one captain pick, and the reasoning behind both, so a decision takes under a minute instead of an evening.
Method
Armband turns the public Fantasy Premier League data into one transfer and one captain call per deadline. Here is exactly how the numbers are built, in plain English.

No. Armband never asks for your FPL email or password. You enter your public team ID — the number in your FPL points URL — and everything else comes from the public Fantasy Premier League API.
Armband builds team attack and defence ratings from this season's actual results rather than the unreliable strength fields in the FPL data. For each player and each fixture it combines his chance of starting, his expected goals and assists per 90 minutes, defensive contributions, bonus-point rate, goalkeeper save rate, and the difficulty of that specific opponent home or away. Rates are regressed toward a positional average until a player has real minutes, so a player with one appearance cannot top the table.
The captain is the player in your projected starting eleven with the highest expected points for that single gameweek, because the armband doubles that score. Armband also shows the runner-up and the gap between them so you can see how close the call is.
Rival Mode compares your squad against one specific mini-league rival and estimates the probability that you finish above them. When you are ahead it tells you to converge — cover their key players so they cannot catch you. When you are behind it tells you to diverge — take differentials that create a gap.
Yes. Armband uses the official availability status and chance-of-playing percentage. Flagged players are discounted in the projections, listed in an availability panel on your deadline card, and never recommended as a transfer in.
There is no free tier. A single gameweek is $2.99, four gameweek credits are $9.99, and a season pass is $34. One credit unlocks one gameweek permanently, and card payments run through MamoPay hosted checkout.
The Dugout is Armband's banter room. You sign in, pick an alias, and talk football with other FPL managers. Every message is moderated for one thing: it has to be about football.
Armband is built by an FPL manager who plays every gameweek and uses these recommendations on his own team.
